About Michael
Michael Davies and his wife Terry retired in Spain in 1989 after sailing the Mediterranean for two years.
When he finally came ashore to live in Altea La Vieja, he joined the walking group that Christl Batnik was then leading, where he reinforced his growing love of mountain walking and his interest in navigation and map reading.
In the last 18 years he has been exploring new routes, has worked assidously on keeping the lesser known paths clear and has built up a meticulous record of these walks, which are referred to on many of the walks hearin described.
