What was to be the last leg of the Camino Frances and Fistera, Did not have the same Camino feel as Frances or Vezelay but nevertheless enjoyed the challenge and great company of John and Norman. Navigation was a disaster because of reliance on Garmin Edge this put Kilometers and flustration on to the trip. Never again map paper and pen in future. For most day we had rain and not to bad wind conditions . Accomodation was great we used Vrienden op de Fiets and International youth hostels .My journey started in Alicante, Norman travelled via Ferry from Wales to Hook of Holland, so he had a solo day one. John lives in Ijmuiden. We all meet up in Leerdam on day two for John and me and end of first day for Norman.
