DISASTER IN NORWAY 2017

After months of planning a one month bike ride in Norway. First day crash proved to be a disaster. Lucky it happened on one of the quieter roads and I escaped inury. Repair to bike was unsatisfactory. Roads for next few days very dangerous, steep and narrow. No hard shoulder, so sharing with buses trucks and many large camper vans. Fantastic scenery, very disapointed but decided this trip with my set-up was too dangerous and better call it a day and return to Spain early. If I was to recommend for future trip, Car with bike rack and mountain bike, stick to the many off-road tracks as you explore this wonderful

Watch out for the Trolls

Fjord Ferries are plentiful and cheap for bike.
