GRAND TOUR NETHERLANDS 2020

Usual Hassle packing bike box and praying for no oversize problems with Ryanair. Never is,,but always a worry.

From Schipol after reassembling bike in baggage hall. Nice 45K ride to John O'Reilly in Ijmuiden. John as usual 

had trained hard for two day's in preparation. Nest day aclimatisation was more mecanical rehabilation of John's bike.

Apart from first day the weather was the biggest challenge, Wind and Rain. All of Netherlands via bike paths and you

need a good Google Maps and John was great at navigating our way through senic countryside.

For accomodation each night we stayed B&B's with hosts from Vrienden op de Fiets (Friends of the Bike) all of which were

excellent. 

Stopovers; OPPEDOES, LEEUWARDEN, GRONINGEN. COEVARDEN, DEN BOSH, APELDOORN, ROOSENDAAL, DELFT,
